I can't help it i'm flooring the car everyday. It is starting to waste as much gas as my TII when I drive it like a granny.



I'm hoping to get a K&N filter to improve milage. I just went to mazdatrix during lunch and they were out of them. Dam I have to order one and wait.

I also get 23 mpg on the highway, at 70 mph, with the cruise control on. This is on an almost stock AT. Mixed highway/city with infrequent red lines gives 20 mpg. Flogging gets 18 mpg or less. Horsepower is never free

 

One of my adopted son's drove his Rx8 at 120 for 3 hours.. said it was worth the bad gas mileage, Im too chicken for that one!

 

how do you drive 120 for 3 hours? was in on an oval in gt3?

 

lol, we've never been out west have you? utah is like 4-5 hours of nothing, straight road
