the warranty wouldnt be out by the time the effects, if there were any, showed up. its probably best (for warranty purposes anyway) to use what they say to.

I'll stick to what I'm currently using, too. I was told NOT to use syn and our owner's manuals say not to. There's gotta be a reason for that!

err what may i ask is the problem with using synthetic in an RX7?? does that apply to the FC as well?

I would definately check for function in BOTH fans.

There have been several cases of the rubber grommets that mount the bottom of the air box falling off and into the fans which effectively stops them from running and will burn the motors.

Actually, the update DVD that was mailed to new owners specifically indicates NOT to use synthetic because its long-term effects are unknown.

has anyone had an engine fail knowingly bc of the use of synthetic?
