So I ran out of gas and put some in but now the car won't start.

Car tries to start but just won't catch, i tried cycling the key to push fuel through but that doesnt work. Any ideas? I called the dealership to see if theres some secret to getting it started but they said I would have to get it towed there because it is likely the injectors flooded and they would have to be taken out and dried, he asked if i smelled gas and i said no, does this mean that its not flooded and its the pump? I hope not
