Local dealer let me abuse the hell out of a RX-8 tonight.

We went on the parkway, it was nice, but it DOES feel like

its missing about 50 horsepower, really did drive like a 175hp car

in my opinion, so either the weight of the car is wayyyyy off, or the

HP is way off.

But it was nice to drive, quite smooth, just needs more power.

I trashed it on the Wantagh parkway and everytime I looked down at the speedo I wasnt going fast at all.

It didnt feel fast, it felt like my old GXL.

hmmm....maybe I will go see if the dealer will let me take one home. I put almost 300miles when they gave me the MS protege!

Where is Digisan on his tach? He needs to see if power kicks in at 5000miles!
