With the roll cage, shouldn't it be welded, cause the way you have it, it's really not doing anything.

The cage offers plenty of protection for the uses it was intended for.

I wanted to be able to remove it, if necessary. Welding it to the frame, while offering more protection, eliminates that possibility.



It's more intricate than most of the other 4 pt bars, but not quite a cage either.



It's legal at the drag strip and would do it's job if I flipped the car over. I didn't plan on doing any fender-rubbing racing

PS If anyone is interested in the car without the roll bar (it cost 2200 to have fabricated), I have an interested buyer for it here in Florida.
