I am new to forums and rotary's. I am an automotive instructior at a tech school in NJ. We had a 12A sitting in a corner for twenty years collecting dust. I decided to clean it up, mount it on a stand for running and learn a little about rotary's myself. It has a dual point ditributor so I am assuming it is a 1979. It is missing the carb and I am having a tough time finding one. There is a 1983 carb listed on e-bay, but the seller tells me it won't interchange to my '79. everything I see says that it will bolt right up. I am not really concerned about performance or emissions, I simply want it to run on a stand as a demonstration engine. Can you tell me if the 1983 will bolt up? Do you know of anyone who has a 1979 carb for sale? Thanks, csilver
