After much thought and with some sadness I have decided to sell my car, which has been my baby for the last 8 years or so. As many people know lots of hard work has been put into it, in an effort to make it a unique TII. A blown motor and recent event in my personal life have caused me to lose interest in the car, and I have decided to move on.

The car is an 88 TII Anniversary Ed which has been heavily modified. The car has NO motor, ECU, exhaust, or seats. The chassis as about 130k miles, but the ENTIRE car has been gone through with all new bushings, mounts etc.I have the original window sticker, and emblems to go with the car. There is no motor or ECU in the car.



Body

Full GP sports body kit (front, rear, sides) with M-sports 20mm front fenders and 30mm rear fenders. This has allowed me to run 18x9” and 18x10.5” wheels. The rears could easily clear 11” or possibly more. Front fenders and sides are molded together for ultra clean look, but can still be removed from car. Side markers were shaved, and careful thought put into installation such that **NO** hardware is visible from outside of car. Bumpers and side skirts matched to wheel well so there is no overlap as typical with aftermarket kits. Gas cap modified to accept R6 locking gas cap. Authentic RE Amemiya rear wing and RE powered mirrors as well. 3rd brake light has been covered with a molded in plate that reads “10th A.E.” Brand new outside window moldings also. Engine bay was stripped and repainted factory 10AE crystal white. I decided to put some blue pearl in the paint when the exterior was sprayed. All panesl were removed for spraying and everything was done including complete removal, strip and paint of jams, interior portion of door, sunroof etc. Paint is top of the line PPG.



2k for the body



Suspension/driveline

JIC Al front strut bar($50) and carbon rear bar($100). Suspension techniques sway bars($125), mazdatrix adjustable end links($50) full poly bushing. DTSS eliminator bushings. Stock springs and stuts will be included so that the car can be rolled. I have already sold the Zeal suspension that was on the car. Every bushing on the car has been replaced. Mazda comp motor, tranny and diff mounts with poly bushings on all suspension pieces. Tranny($200), diff($125), half shafts($50) etc are stock with ~130k miles and work great.



Interior is stock 10th AE with S5 gauge surround and stereo surround. I have S5 door panels currently in the car which have been modified for 6” speakers, and the stock 10AE panels with black leather as well. Cruise control area has been modified to fit Profec B spec II boost controller (not included) Center consol has been recovered in leather with “Rx-7” embroidered in white. New plastic “triangle” covers for mirrors. Very new factory floor mats. Also I have CF hatch cover covers. It’s a couple of layers of CF that sits over the existing bins. Not perfect, but they do look very good. ($350 for everything)



The quirks:

Headlight motor wires were removed since I intended to go with non-popups. Front bumper has a crack in the lower lip from a curb. It can easily be repaired. The two rear fenders have cracks at the seam near the door from contact with the tires when I first finished the car. The contact issue was resolved, but the cracks weren’t repaired. Lastly, the passenger door was replaced and the new primer put on that door didn’t stick, so it will need to be re-sprayed.



I would prefer to sell the car as is to one person. It would a be a rolling chassis with stock suspension and wheels with bald tires. The full drive line from the trans back is in tact. I’m asking $3000 for the complete package and I’m sure I’ve left off lots. If there is no interest in the package I will part it out. For those who have expressed interest in various parts, take a look at the pricing in parenthesis as that will be the starting price for the parts.
