1986 Arctic Silver Sport - gray/black interior - 5 speed - 165k

Good:

-Runs great. Been a very reliable DD.

-Only 2 owners. First owner was my grandfather, an engineer. Still says it was the best car hes ever owned. Always been cared for mechanically.

-Interior 8.5/10

-I have all service records.

-Borla catback, K&N drop in (only mods)

-S5 radio surround

-Alpine head unit with iPod hook up, Alpine 6.5s, Infinity 4s

-just put in new shifter bushings

Bad:

-definitely needs paint

-few dings (park as far away as you can!)

-rust on all fenders

-sunroof is out of commission. worked great, went on vacation for a week, came back, when I tried to open it it was stuck closed. I think the cable broke.

-could use a new fuel filter

-only minor things in the interior, overall its great for a 20 year old car

This car is my first love. Even thinking about parting with it brings a tear to my eye. I do not beat on this car. Im not going to say I drive it like an old lady, but I definitely do not peel out at every light and redline every gear. In fact, I hardly ever take it all the way to redline. Not that I have a problem winding it out . I ALWAYS wait until its up to operating temperature before I rev it past 3k.

Since I got the car a few years ago, it has been washed almost always every week and kept waxed. Also, the oil has always been changed every 3k or less with Castrol GTX.

Reason for selling is that Id just like something newer. Thinking about a Miata.

Asking 1700 OBO. KBB is 2,225.

Located in South Jersey.

Would be great for a project car or daily driver.

I am interrested, but I need to see if I can offload my current project car(s) first. I will keep checking in.
