Thumbs up

I've got a 93 Montego Blue Automatic with 57K miles for sale. Factory replaced engine @ 40K miles. I bought the car in FL in Jan 1997 with 26K miles on it. Tan Leather interior and body is in good shape. Car has never been wrecked and has clean title and carfax.

It is a base model with CD in dash, 6 disc changer in storage compartment, and rear spoiler. I'm asking $14,250 for it. The car is in Raleigh, NC.

I traveled 900 miles to buy it...that was half the fun! Any interest? Lemme know. I should have pics soon as I find the digital camera.

NC is North Carolina...and I see you are from Florida. The car was originally titled in Plantation, FL...where I grew up. I drove down to get it back in Jan 1997 when I bought it.

As far as "doing payments" is concerned...if you are asking if I will loan you the money to buy the car...that is something I am definetly NOT interested in doing.

Here's another pic for those interested.

If you can't get a bank loan, and don't have the cash sitting on hand, then a 3rd generation RX7 is not for you.

I don't know ANYONE willing to do owner financing on an RX7, let alone across state lines. Too much risk involved. You could take the car, trash it, blow the engine, and then stop paying. I'd then have to track the car down, tow it home, rebuild it, and then try and resell it...no thanks. :lachuh:

This car is in great shape...everything works...and the engine was replaced recently.

I edited this cuase the **** about those other cars was insulting to me and one more thing if i did get the car and blow the engine theres NO WAY id give the car back or stop paying id simply rebuild the engine myself or buy a new engine . Plus im not an idiot driver and im not an ******* who would do that so get your **** straight first.

Oh i checked i could get the money no prob i got 10,000 in the bank some family owes me about 5,000 , and the bank i talked to said i could get 10,000 ,but i changed my mind.

Thumbs down

I am selling a car as well (minutes from Plantation) and would never do owner financing, unless it was for family. Even then, I would be cautious.

I think someone is abusing his Moderator rights...

Post your own message, don't edit his. Sheesh.

By the way Seppuku, unless you buy the car used from a dealer, there is no way anyone will finance you. I've *never* heard of anyone doing something like this, especially with this car. Risks are just too great. Just do what I did and get a loan from the bank.
