1993 Brilliant Black Mazda RX-7 R1

Rockland County, New York

I regretfully have to say that I am selling my pride and joy. I thought after having

my twin babies who are now 9 months that I would be able to keep my FD, unfortunately

not. I am going to be looking for something w/ 4 seats and 4 doors.

The FD was purchased a little over 3 years ago and it spent 2 years in the garage with

a blown motor. I believe I am the 4th owner and to my knowledge it was never in an

accident except for one incident when someone tapped my rear 1/4 pulling out of a spot.

From the time of my ownership, it has NEVER seen the track even though I wanted to take

it for a couple of events. It's only been to a couple shows with some trophies.

The chasis is clocking about 139,000 miles and read 114,xxx miles when I purchased it. For some

reason my title shows 14,xxx, I'm thinking they missed the all important "1". I'm sure it'll

show up on CarFax as a discrepancy.

The engine has roughly 3000 miles if that rebuilt and ported by KDRotary. The turbos where

also replaced with low mileage units. Since my ownership, I've been working on all the

reliability issues and aged parts. The turbos are now converted to non sequential allowing

me to remove and disable all the related parts that can cause problems. At this point it's

single turbo ready!! You can see from the list of what was eliminated simplifying the powerplant.

The ECU was replaced with an APEXi Power FC unit which was tuned by Steve Kan of Gotham Racing. My recent dyno runs figures where 280 RWHP at 7psi!! I wished the dyno printer was working, but unfortunately it wasn't. I had problems with boost creep and still haven't had time to go out and get an electronic boost controller.

Here are the modifications w/ retail prices (since I don't remember how much I paid for

most of them)

As you can see, I've pour numurous amount of hours, sweat and money on my FD. It's really hard for me to do this, but under my circumstances... I am posting this here since first and if nothing happens, it'll go on EBAY.

If you have any concerns about my FD, please ask some of the other forum members on the forum. A bunch of them have seen it in person.

Asking Price: $25,000 OBO

Please, NO LOW BALLERS!! I WILL NOT entertain any emails or PMs with low ball figures!! I love my FD and will not see it loose it's value to an offer of 10K.

If you have any questions please PM or email me. I will try to respond as quickly as I can.

Thanks!!
