As much as i love my car, I rode my dads Hayabusa a few times since he got it two weeks ago, and i took my boy's 03 636 ninja out for a few hours today, im HOOKED.

So, im selling my stealth to fund a used streetbike. As a side note im willing to consider swap for a SB should someone be intrested in that. SB must be in good working order, and nothing older than 2000 (ill consider some older....). If i cant start the bike and ride it all day long, its not for me. Stealth is 100% stock as far as i am aware, i cannot see where anything has been changed. Somewhere along the lines one of the other 3 owners put on a tow hitch and UHUAL wiring kit. Going by the carfax it appears the second owner bought it and than moved to Massachusetts, so im assuming they towed person belongings.

I purchased it from a local guy back in november, because he believed the transmission was beat. After talking to many people at 3SI i have determined it to be most likely that it is the TCU, not the trans itsself. I have not changed the TCU at the present time, and unless i find one for the right price i have no intention of it. I have only put about 5k on the car as far as milage goes, and its been babied since the day i touched it. The car has, at time of post, ~159k on it.

Heres a description of the trans issue quoted from 3SI:

________________________

"My car has always had this issue. First time you drive it after turning the key off, the car will buck three times in the areas of 2500-4000 RPM depending on what rpm i let it go up too. After the three bucks it drives fine, except when you stop it never goes down into first, it takes off in 2nd gear. Even if i pull it down to first it never drops past 2nd. I have done this on ECO and performance settings, but that switch doesnt seem to do ANYTHING for my car. The OD being on or off means nothing because the only thing that button does for my car is flash the light on the dash accordingly. No RPM changes or anything at all.

Now all day it will never buck again until i turn the car off. Then again, does this three-buck episode once then not again till i turn it off. Doesnt matter if its hot or cold."

The car just got a new Driver side CV axel, and i just ordered the one for the passanger side, its going on shortly. Also, the ABS light stays on, but the brakes work fine so damned if i know why its on lol.

The rest of the car is in very good condition. The driver side seat is torn, the passagner isnt too bad, and the rears are like new. The fronts have covers on them right now, the buyer can keep em. The clear coat is peeling a little on the hood, so a paintjob is in order but not a must.

I love the car, dont get me wrong, but its time for another toy. The oil has been changed every 1k miles with Molbil 1 Full Synthetic and a K&N oil filter. During the winter months the car got 5W30, and i just chnaged it too 10W30 last week. Tires and brakes are fine but will be due soon.

Overall the car needs to be seen in person if your interested, because it drives very nice. That trans comp prob just irritates me to no end lol. The car is located in Cedarville NJ, which is just outside Millville NJ. My zip code is 08311, and im not shipping it.

I can email you a carfax if you ask me too, email is wacker7@gmail.com for the carfax request.

Car is insured and has been driven, no problems aside from the TCU, ever. Car does NOT have a current valid inspection, as im too lazy to inspect a vehicle i didnt plan to keep.

Any questions just ask, you MUST pick the car up in person, and 1,000.00 is due within 48 hours of the auction ending, should you decide to back out this payment will NOT be refunded to you unless you have what i feel to be a VERY good reason.
