FS: 1989 RX-7 TurboII - Comp Yellow Mica 390RWHP
#1
I am selling my 390 RWHP 1989 Mazda RX-7 TurboII. I am the 3rd owner, and have owned this vehicle since 1997. I have decided to finally sell the car and start a new project.
More Pictures of the car can be found here:

Brief history of the vehicle: Car remained mostly stock for 90% of its life. After nearly 200k miles, the motor expired in 1999. At that point, the car underwent a spare-no-expense, ground-up restoration project which was completed in 2002. The entire suspension, drive train, bushings and bearings were replaced/upgraded and suspension pieces powder coated. Practically everything firewall-forward is new. The paint work was done the "The Works Auto Body" in Santa Clara and cost more than I paid for the entire car back in 1997! The vehicle has now 10k miles since restoration (10k miles on the new motor), is always garaged and meticulously maintained. Car runs and drives as if it were new. It was built to be quick, but more importantly; reliable and comfortable. It was recently driven from Tucson to San Jose, averaged 23 MPG, and only needed gas on the journey. Vehicle has been extremely reliable since restoration. It is difficult to say that is the nicest FC RX7 ever built, but probably one of most thoroughly built. Took Best Mazda award at the only import show it was entered in (2004).

So, what would constitute a fair price for this car? My wife swears she wants it. Yesterday she sent me a phony email saying she had bought an M5. So today I send her this car, and she likes it. Me and my bright ideas!

I've been advertising the car for $13,500. Everything is negotiable of course...

I would guess $15k a starting price, with wiggle room
Yah, I thought about asking 14-15k originally. However, I know if I do that, it will take a long time to find a buyer for it. By setting it lower (around 13,000) she will (hopefully) move quicker.
