1986 RX-7 Sport, 5 speed. Located on an acrage outside of Liscomb, IA.

This car was my nice-weather daily driver until my neighbor backed into it full-speed in a rainstorm. Car sustained heavy damage to the driver's side rear.

This car is a gold mine for parts. I always wanted to part it out but never had the time because I was in school. The 7 is finally 'dead to me' so I am taking the loss and sending her to a home that has time to do it right. Because of the accident, the title is salvaged. I have my original title, never received anything from the insurance company, unsure of how to transfer ownership because of that...

The car really needs to be towed away. I had ordered wheel bearings before the wreck, I wouldn't be comfortable sending the car more than one or two hundred miles at that point. However, the car has been sitting for over a year since then. Also, the battery was either completely dead or disconnected. I didn't check because it was raining while I was out there. Again, car needs to be towed.

Car has the following parts: (current condition of all parts is unknown)

* strong engine (134K) - still ran fine

* Suspension Technique lowering springs

* Tokico blue struts

* 5-lug

* 4-piston calipers

* aluminum hood

* medium tint on glass

* back glass has no wiper (some prefer)

* amber clock, fully-functioning idiot cluster

* typical RX-7 goodies (jack, spare)

* original master key and sharp copy

* both pop-ups fucntional, both flash-to-pass in

* cheapie 5-spoke rims (AR-style), one lug nut cover missing, think dog made it a toy

Also comes with:

* Mazda electrical issues (fading clock / stereo / etc)

* Flat spotted / dry rotted tires from sitting idle

* Significant body damage

* Botanical life

* Possibly smells like cat pee

* Missing paint (roof)

Roof damage.

I know the car is worth upwards of $1500 parted out from various offers I've received. Asking $500. $450 with no hassles will take her home.

(706)951-2095 is my number. If you are seriously interested and would like to see (or just pick up the car sight unseen) we can set up a meeting time. I'm in and out of classes and study groups all day so please leave a message. Let me know when it is too late to call you back. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, the people on the forums are really spread out but if you want to sell something quick, try craigslist. Its worked for me in the past.
