Forum Newbie / Track Vet / Selling Cherished FD
#1
Hello Fello Rotorheads...
First off I'd like to offer up a sincere thanks and hello to all. This is my first post but I have lurked here off and on for years. I've always found this forum to be most informative and positive. When I first admitted my addiction and bought my FD (6 years ago) I had finally experienced automotive nirvana. Until recently there was never a thought at parting with my other wife as I have had far too much fun embarrasing far more expensive cars at my local tracks (Sears Point, Laguna Seca, Thunder Hill) I have always loved the rotary and more specifically this car. Unfortunately the Ariel Atom has stolen my heart and I can't have both.
I am offering this car on this forum first, before any local or internet advertising. I'll probably give it two weeks here. Why? In my opionion the people that respect these cars are here. Real rotary people. This car belongs in one of your hands as it is a very rare offering. This car has been meticulously maintained and is near perfect. Always Redline Oil. ALways properly cooled down. Always loved. Although modified, it has not been butchered by any means. All the best in mods, all the reliablity mods and the best parts money can buy. I'll email a full list to genuinely interested parties. Heres a short list.
86000 mi., 8000 on factory Mazda reman. Stock block, no porting. Stock twins, looked prestine at rebuild install. Boosts held to 12 pounds max. (wastegate pill drilled) CYM origional paint. Hood is starting to fade just a bit, but how rare is an origional CYM in this condition?
Kinesis Wheels 18X9 Fronts 18X10 Rears Brand New cycled and shaved Yokohama A048s

Powerslot Rears with Hawk Blues (stock calipers)
Brand newe pads and fresh rotor turns on all four corners
626 Master Cylinder (oversized) Braided lines
Koni Adjustable coil overs, M2 toe links, ect.
AST Large intercooler, aluminum piping, Trev Dagley/FTL Ducting/Coldair Yes the real deal 1 of 10 made before his tragic death.
MazdaSpeed Radiator and Swaybars with Trev Dagley Front Mounts that relocates the radiator back a bit.
All the usual other stuff: piping, pulleys, intake elbow, relocated battery, M2 piggyback ECU, ect..
