Fc3s rx-7
I brought this car back from Japan in 1996..
It is currently registered as an 85, becuase it was built in November of 1985 as a 86 model. 85 was first generation body style and 86 was 2nd generation (FC3S) body style. This is definately a 2nd generation.
In 86-87 RX-7's in the states did not have turbo's but in Japan they all had turbos, so this is a turbo car.
This car also has a back seat if you want to call it that..
Motor was rebuilt years ago but only has about 20,000-25,000 kilometers on it since the rebuild
Replaced the turbo with a Greddy TD06-20G turbo w/wastegate, has front mount intercooler and blow off valve.
Tlton twin plate clutch
short throw shifter
struts and springs were all changed
had a APEX-AVCR for boost controller, HKS AIC (additional injector controller) with 2 additional 720cc injectors and HKS exhaust temp gauge and another HKS gauge that were mounted in the glove box (don't remember what the other gauge was anymore). Unfortunately some thugs broke into the car and stole the controllers and gauges from the glove box but left all the parts that were under the hood. All engine and performance work was done by Axia Motorsports in Japan
There was also a custom stereo installed, customer door panel speaker pods with MB Quartz component speakers, custom hatch area that had a Rockford Fosgate punch amplifier, custom hand made crossover and Audio Control equalizer and JL Audio subwoofers. the structure is still there but some of the components are gone. Stereo work was done by Obayashi Factory in Japan.
