love the car but dont have any time to messs with. bought the car month ago. been driving it everyday to work.

changed TPS

changed BAC

plugs , wires, etc etc etc

new shifter boot rubbers

new shifter bushings

new clutch slave cylinder

I just got a set of injectors cleaned and tested that I have yet to put on car. car has started having problems starting after installing fuel cut off switch.



when I bought the car it started but would idle at 3K. finally got that squared away but in process I installed a cut off switch.



when trying to crank engine acts like not getting enough gas momentarily, then it goes away and car runs strong.



door has a dent and rear quarter has dent from when someone backed up and rubbed against something and at same time opened door. I have a replacement door.



have nearly $1000 in parts since I got it month ago. just got 91 300ZX so I am out of rotaries for a while.

here is a long email I jsut gave a guy about car:









I forgot to mention that I have a spare door if person wants the bad door removed. it is not red, it is the dark blue color but I kept it just for that purpose from my parts car.



here is a copy of the last email:



The car runs fine , it has a problem getting started. Once it is started I can burn up the tires taking off and tranny runs fine thru all gears. I just replaced the shifter bushings and it feels fine. I have newly cleaned and flowed injectors but since I have never installed them and have limited time then I havent installed them. I was going to for sure but that was before I bought another car. Now I have 2 cars that I have problems with but only need one and can only keep one. I need a car that I can start and go in and not hae to worry about.

I have owned 7 rx7s but have never had a motor that would crank and be bad so I do not know what that is like. the only one I had with a dead motor wouldnt crank no matter what. this one runs great once I get it started. If It is started and run for a while it is great. I can turn it off and can start it up again fine with no problem. It has the problem after sitting for a while and then trying to crank. that is why I got the new injectors. I thought the old ones were messed up and leaking while the car sits.



I cant garantee that the injectors will fix the problem. I am just going one by one. if the car had no power then I would think otherwise but the motor is toast. I have driven the car everyday to work for the last 3 weeks. I bought the car about a month ago for $1200.



Since then I put this stuff on it or fixed:

Borla lifetime catback $400

Bonez Superflow cat system $315

new plugs $20

Magecore Plug wires

NEW CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER

CONE FILTER(forgot name but its not EBay crap) $40

Turbo 2 Hood- cost me $250

Changed BAC

Changed TPS

Changed thermostate housing

NEW SHIFTER Bushings from MAZDATRIX $30

NEW SHIFTER RUBBER BOOTS from MAZDATRIX $55

Extra set of injectors $40



I was not planning on selling this car but I am about to have to work to much and not have any time and I needed a break from working on cars. I am not a mechanic and I have no help close to me so it is hard and wife is tired of it so I am selling this car and all the other parts I have been saving for emergencies.



Car is not perfect but you must really see it in person to make a fair judgement. I have taken pics to show as much as possible but the pics actually look worse than the real car.The interior is great except the usual cracks on the side of the driver seat and a couple of small splits at the seams. the seats are still firm and could be OK for a while . passenger seat is fine. the seatbelts were serviced before I got the car and both work fine. dont know about AC havent used it. all other electronic stuff works. all switches work. no radio in car . never had one.

I removed the 17 wheels today. the stock wheels are back on there an the tires on it are still good. the rims are pretty good shape.



I can get pics of it with them on there if needed.



If I cant get $700 for it with all the stuff that is on it then I will either remove the exhaust and replace it with stock stuff or I will combine the car with all the other stuff I have left.



I also have this stuff:

1 RB Road Race header with a new in box O2 sensor

1 ACT street strip clutch with lesss than 10 milles on it

1 NEW OEM Mazda rear shock set

1 NEW MONROE rear shock set

1 NEW GAbriel FRONT strut set

1 5 spd tranny S5

1 driveshaft

1 custom tranny mount bracket set( for auto to 5 spd swap)

1 gauge cluster

various turn, cruise, headlight switches



I hope this answers any more questions on the car that I keep getting. The car runs but has a problem starting. It is still very fun to drive and deserves a look in person.
