hey everyone out there i need help trying to name this part. it is a part that is right above the back end of the trans and connects from the shifter to i thing the trans. it is not a rod and it is not metal so if any body waht i am talking about please help me anme that part. thanks for your help

no it is like a long flat rod type of part

the part the runs from the shifter box to the gear box is the tube that the shift rod slides in. or are you talkin about inside the tail stock and are asking about the oil return pipe?

no it is right on the side of a rod one on the right side and one on the left side of it
