Low Restriction Intake Duct 1993-95 RX-7*



One area needing improvement to increase intake air flow efficiency is the stock-configured air inlet ducting. After extensive in-house testing efforts, we have developed an intake duct assembly that improves chassis acceleration times while allowing turbo boost pressure to both rise faster and recover faster during the turbocharger's switch over sequence.



Unlike many of the aftermarket air filter assemblies that simply attach to the air meter and draw hot air from around the exhaust manifold and radiator, our "Free Flow" Air Inlet Assembly draws only fresh, cool ram air from the front of the chassis and does so more efficiently than the stock inlet assembly. The Racing Beat "Free Flow" Air Inlet Duct Kit is manufactured with vacuum-formed, textured ABS plastic and requires only a minimal installation effort. We strongly recommend the K & N Air Filter Element for optimal performance (Part No. 16520).
