Red face

Ok guys I've got a practically brand spanking new S5 (89-91) TII wiring harness Mazda Part Number N370-18-05ZD that I'm going to sell it fresh out of my TurboVert swap to help finance a Haltech upgrade.

This harness has basically been used just to let the car idle (drove it ~50 miles around the neighborhood - literally on a 2 mile loop just to test the electronics and begin gentle engine break-in), has never been wet, is perfectly clean and contains the brand new, factory-placed rubber grommets and mounting points as it came with in the box. It was made earlier this year when I ordered it from Mazda Japan so the wires are also brand new and have not been sitting on a shelf for the past 15 years. Nothing is brittle or iffy about this harness... everything is flexible and solidly assembled.

The harness is currently installed in my vehicle, and will be removed promptly and professionally (you've all seen my TurboVert I think.. check my sig for a link if not) and packaged better than Mazda sent it to me. For pics of what it looks like now, check that link.

There are a few modifications to it:

1. I have used high quality GReddy tap splices to wire an SAFC-II into the harness. These taps are minimally invasive to the harness wiring and when they are removed the wiring will NOT be able to short out -- the insulation will close against itself again. However, since it is slightly more susceptible to dirt or water due to the cut, I offer you the option of my taping the areas where the taps come off, or leaving them for your inspection. Or if you want to buy the SAFC-II as well I will give you an additional $50 off the SAFC price of $300 and leave both harnesses as they are currently. See my SAFC "For Sale" post regarding this unit. The crimps were not intended to be permanent but I did not want to destroy the harness by soldering it. The SAFC worked without a hitch this way. The AFM line has bullet connectors to allow it to be solidly reconnected. If you prefer, I will solder + heatshrink the AFM line back in place, or I can leave the bullet connectors on. They have a mating, sealed rubber boot which will keep water and dirt out of the bullets when they are plugged together, so there is nothing to worry about but I'll offer that as an option.

2. I have run a few wires through the rubber boot which seals at the firewall. The rubber seals around these wires, but if I removed the wires there would be a small square hole (about as big as a 10 gauge wire) left.

Other than these listed modifications, the harness will be in AS-NEW condition when I sell it.

I paid almost $700 for this harness, I am selling it for $550 or best offer shipped anywhere in the continental US via FedEx Ground, insured at $1000. Shipping anywhere outside of this area is possible provided you pay the extra for international tracking and proof of delivery. If you find a reputable quoted price lower than this on a brand new stock TII harness I will beat it by 5% and you'll still get the free shipping offer.

I accept credit cards or other funds via PayPal, or checks or money orders via snail mail. If you pay by check I will wait for it to clear before shipping the harness.

Those of you who have been tracking my TurboVert construction will know I have paid attention to detail and have taken excellent care of my car and its parts, this is a great harness, in superb shape, and I'm offering it for a very fair price. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me via email or by posting here. If I don't sell it within a week or two I'll probably post it up to eBay, but I'd like you guys to get the chance to wrangle a better deal than I'll post it up there for.

SAFC-II has been sold. The Harness is STILL FOR SALE. It is being removed from my car today, and if I get no leads from this page this week it will go up on ebay next weekend or so. Free shipping will no longer be an option then.
