If anyone has a blocked pre-cat or just wants a cheap downpipe of sorts that looks fairly legal I have one with the heat shields removed. The cat was cut at the exit pipe, the insides were completely removed, and the pipe was welded back on. It took me 2 hours to break up the metal mesh inside. It's not pretty but it's functional.
