........P.S. any ideas on how to make a tranny mount for this swap would be good thx!!!
ive got a 75 chevy luv 13b i used the original isuzu rearend.... it allready had 4.56 gears.. and 6 lugs... i havent tore it out yet.. :-) as for the tranny mount my motor is so low i used a strait piece of steal 5/8 by2 inches across the bottoom of the chassis.... solid mounts..... it took me about a year to do this swap but i allso completely restored the truck.... if u want i'll send u some pics of my mounts and stuff just shoot me an e-mail.... rotorhead@schoollink.net scotty//
Rotary's don't have a lot of torque and don't tend to break things like other swaps can. So most 4 banger running gear parts work just fine.
I'm running my stock suzuki rear end 5.31:1 rear gears. And it works just fine. My 1st to 2nd shift is a quick one, but the rear end has handled all the abuse I have given it.

I just used 1" square tubing for my Transmission mount. I welded it a basic design and then cut my notch for the exhaust after. I added reinforcing plates as well, and sprayed the thing with some undercoating spray.
I don't have a shop, just some basic tools, a wirefeed welder and a sawzall
