i think www.racingbeat.com makes an intake for the 13B to make if carburated and the carburators for the swap and also try re-speed.com they make a lot of good parts for all the rx-line and mazdas

The hardest part I see in doing this is the exhaust. The rotarys exhaust eats standard mufflers very quickly. With the motor in the rear, you won't be able to run a header and plumping a couple of mufflers that will be required will be tough.

I know I started my project with just a header / silencer and a single muffler and it was WAY too loud. Sounded like a NASCAR. Seriously, not even streetable.

I'm running the same exhaust but have a Turbo, which quiets the exhaust enough to make it streetable.

Sounds like a fun project. Good Luck!

I know that racingbeat sells carb. intakes for 12a and 13b. I'm currently running a 12a bridge w/ 48ida carb. No matter what you decide on, installing a rotary into your bug is a blast. It's nothing like the old pancake 4 banger. If you have any questions on how I did the install let me know. Here is a link of a some vids of it running.
