has anyone here been in a rotary powered boat before. The one on the atkins website looks so fun. and there's no reason why a rotary shouldn't be in a boat, chevy's are in them all the time.

Sorta! You seen those weird taxi boats in James Bond movies with the motor on a stalk and a loooong propshaft? Nod you head cos if you aint I'm sinking

On holiday in Bangkok we grab one of these things. Off down the river, wife goes 'Robert, notice anything unusual about this taxi..?'

Huh? What? (early AM) Where.......HOLY **** A 13B!!!!

Thing has an carbed 13B. Wife did not think it funny when I started negotiations to buy the boat to add to my 'sad-**** rotorhead' collection back home. No sense of humour women!
