Yea solo miata is a nice site.

My HP numbers will rip the NA trany to pices. I also already have the RX7 rear end up in there and the pinion is longer so a custom shaft is needed. With the RX7 rear end the mount braces are not the same nor is the trany so the mx5 brace needs moded to fit. Without my HP goals I think you advise is great and would save allot of time to anyone not going to be pushing high numbers

Torque wrecks gearboxes, not horsepower.

Yes I am aware of this thank you. But in aspect a 600+ WHP car will be pushing in the 540+tq range do you honestly think it would hold together?

I'm aware of 1000bhp cars making just over 200lb/ft so anything's possible.

Send me an e-mail and I will send you some pix of my swap(99 with a 13bt and rx-7 drive train). You might get some ideas.

I would love to see how this project is going for interest reasons. I myself owns a '92 Miata and plan to be swapping a 13B-RE with a bridgeport and GT35R into it.
