Again, please provide real data...

end of this for me, good luck!

Mazda's 12AT, no intercooler. I don't see how posting my datalogs will give any more proof that running w/o an intercooler does not work.

The difference between the 12at and EVERYTHING you do is called engineering! You have NEVER provided hard evidence supporting what you do and why you do it, Glen is just asking you to do the impossible.

Doh! This area doesn't get a lot of traffic.

For example for the breakin period and when him and I were tuning up to 10psi, the base ignition timing was retarded by 90 degrees off of the pulley( timing marks were showing up at 9 o'clock on the pulley).

That was the problem; the retarded ignition raised the EGTs which raised the oil, coolant and intake temps. The constant injection of the primary injectors were what kept the corner seal plugs from melting and kept the temps down in that area.

Yeah I was puzzled for sometime, but it made perfect sense to me. Higher coolant temperatures without an intercooler lead to high intake temperatures, after all you intake manifold is connected to your engine. Just like when you first try you're car in the morning when coolant temperatures aren't up to temp, you're intake temps are really low. Funny how certain idiots keep point the finger at me... lol

If the apex seals are blue, black in the centre and sagged you tune is out. I have seem quite a few cars not even cover 200m with a bad tune and blow up. Get professional help it's cheaper than a rebuild
