what type of apex seals do you use and why?

I dont think you will ever see any metallic aftermarket seal get anywhere near those mileage numbers, Even in Japan, people played with unbreakable seals called well, NB for never break.. They were parts eaters to and made the rounds in the nineties..In the end everyone there went back to mazda seals to.

lol, we tracked an na fc for 4 years, and we went thru a bunch of engines, the only thing we never had a problem with was the apex seals, which were used junkyard parts.... we overheated*, had the rotor gear come out, broke stat gears, etc etc. ive got the last engine in the garage, its a junkyard motor, that got spun to 9400 for a season and a half, bearings are beat, but everything else looks really nice
* this is why you build a car right, they figured out it over heated by spitting on the front pulley, never mind that there was a perfectly accurate guage in the car, that was pegged.

their apex seals are pretty good but the coating on the rotor housings is crap, the compound they used was cheep, and not ment for abuse.
