this is for a first gen right? i donno about turboing without a standalone, unless you run very low boost and turn the timing down and get some more injectors. how much power are u looking for

The first turbo conversion I did to my 6-port used the 99% stock fuel system, from a 2nd gen though, the 1st gen one wouldn't cut it. It would run fine at 5psi of boost, I never tried it any higher than that.

Produced a VERY noticable increase in torque all over the rev range right up to redline.

The second time I decided to go forced induction I used a standalone and let me just say I will never go back from this, In hindsight I should have really used this the first time around.

The second time I also used to larger turbo than the stock one, a S6 fuel pump and lots of other small mods I'll probably remember soon.

While still using the stock 460cc injectors I could run 10psi without detonation, although I ran it at ~7psi for the most of the time I was using this setup.

Unfortunatly I never got a dyno reading of it, I did however run a 14.8 on 4psi the night I first got it running with an untuned microtech, slipping clutch, restrictive air filter(hence the 4psi) and bald 205's on the back.

The second strip time I did running on ~7psi I kept up with a S4 with a highflowed turbo running 14psi!

although I had to stop mine 3/4 track because I heard what I thought was detonation (turned out to be something completly different....)

Well all I can say is that the FC with the highflow I was racing went on to do a 13.7....

And my bumper was about midway down his car before I backed off... (still did a low 15, faster than it was when N/A hehe lol)

So yeah, I'd guess a high 13 on that 7psi of boost... Maybe lower if it wasn't clutch slipping in 3rd and tire spinng off the line

Anyone tried using an additional injector(s) with a boost-sensitive controller on a turbo 6-port?
