Is There A Reason Why Prim. Inj. Diffusers Are

I know the pictures is blurry, but you can see that the injector diffuser is off to the side of the primary port's runner. Any reason for this?

There is definite room to port on the side of the diffuser...

what do u mean by the side.

does your camera have a macro function, u can take pics closer

In the 1st picture you can see how the diffuser is almost against the wall of the intact runner. Its not in the center of the port runner..

they aren't



there is a small notch in them



if not aligned correctly they will look like that



rotated them and see if it goes away. Only turbos have that.

i dont think thats what he is talking about, take a better pic i think, and then show what u are talkign about, if u are talking about the diffusers facing the rotors then thats how it should be.

When you look inside the s4 primaries the diffuser is up against the outside of the port leaving no room for air to flow arround them on that side. When you port you can make enough room for air to get arround on both sides. That is what he is reffering to. Why would mazda do such a thing??

they have a little pipe in the renisis to speed up the charge in some area of the primary port, maybe this is the same thing, but different?
