Yea thats what i thought. Does that mean i need a new rotor?

Thanks, lol. Wanna throw a number in my direction? Just an approximate figure. (Be gentle).

side note: bearing does move almost freely on the shaft***

I used to buy engines from the core pile at a local junk yard for $25.00 each. Some times they would give me 2 or three at that price just to be sure I got enough to build a good one. These engines were obviously damaged in crashes. Some with crushed front cases and pulleys. Some with a piece of the rear iron broken off. I have also had people give me whole cars for free with the engine hosed. I got two RX-2s that way. One became the race car and the other I converted to electric power.

Usually the core engines had water in them. But I could get a complete engine from every three I dragged home. Check with the locals, junk yards, clubs and dealerships to see who screws with rotaries. You might get lucky and find the parts you need for free.

Yes you need a rotor. As far as the e-shaft goes, something bad must have happened for that bearing to spin. It is most likely grooved as well. I would go out on a limb here and say that the front stationary is showing signs of trauma if that front bearing was gone.

Hmmm im gonna go take a look at it right now and take a pic of the stat gear.

Im also gonna try and pull the bearing of the shaft.

Also again, howcome the engine ran fine and made no noise no leaks.

Toss me a PM, Chainsaw. I might be able to help you with finding hard parts if you need.

rotor is bad, spun bearing... chances are that the hole in the rotor is too big for a new bearing.

eshaft is toast, they are cheap new, and 90% of the time they are good, so finding a good used one os no biggie.
