Okay I just about have all my parts.

Ordered RA's rebuild kit with Super Apex Seals.

Do I superglue the corner seals or not? I heard they might already come as one piece.

I had a bad from housing (@ the o-ring to the coolant jacket) so after a search for a replacement. I'm finally ready to assemble next week.

I believe what you are referring to is glueing together 2 or 3 piece apex seals, not corner seals, correct? Some people do this to eas in installation as the apex seals act as one piece. I personally dont find it difficult to install the triangular piece of the apex seals upon final assembly. Just make sure you have a very thing screw driver to seat the apex seal springs before you insert the corner piece. If you do go ahead and glue them, the glue should desolve as soon as they are heated up/cycled through the engine.

Thanks for the reply... My seals are sitting at work so I guess I'll let everyone know Monday if they are in fact stuck together (RA Seals). I was out of the office all week or I'd have them in my hands now.

Wash the pieces in Lacquer thinner or Ketone before you start. Wear disposable gloves. Little pieces of steel glued to you fingers will induce people to laugh at you.

The picture is from The Sun&Fun flyin at Lakeland Florida. On the table is an engine mount for installing a rotary7 in an aircraft. Note the pan bolt pattern in the plate.

Go ahead and glue them. It's easier IMO than trying to stick the piece in on assembly. Make sure you have a very flat surface to sit them on when you glue them so the pieces line up true and can be easily slid through the groove in the rotor. I lay a piece of aluminum foil flat on a glass counter top and glue the seals on top of the foil. Keeps the glue off the table and the foil can be easily pulled off the seal once the glue hardens.

ludwig gave some good advice. Thats what I have always done in the past. Remember, you dont need to use a lot of glue! just a small dab.
