Stock Flywheel Step, Need A Number

Hey I need a spec on the stock FD flywheel.

I am going to have it resurfaced, but cant find a number for the step. The distance between the pressure plate face and the friction surface. I was told it is somewhat critical so I would like to get it right.



If anyone can tell me what it is I would be very grateful, I have looked and called all over and got an idea of what it is supposed to be but not a hard yes this is it.

theres isnt a hard number, the book says to get a new flywheel instead of machineing

He hangs out at Pineapple Racing, so I'm sure they'd be able to rebalance it. One of my REPU flywheels suffers from a botched reserfacing job. It's got a slight vibration. I've lived with it since '97, and it hasn't hurt the two engines it's been on.
