I'm starting to worry. i bought my car650$ not owkring. it cranked but didnt work. Alot of tuning plug new plugs and fuel pump later, we got it running. the problem is it idles at 13-1500 rpms. It runs pretty strong but spits out smoke in exhaust when u first start it in a while. it's got 202,008 miles...thats y im worrying.

Could be on its way out...its hard to tell. Mine has almost 175,000 on it, and I drive it like maniac everday. N/A's seem too last a long time if you take care of them.

Almost all rx7's smoke a lil on start up...Your oil control rings could be bad(especially with 202,000 on it); causing your smoke on startup.

Your high idle is most likely a vacuum leak..you can try to adjust the variable resistor to get it down some too.

Hope this helps some,

Brent
