Rotor + Rotor Housing Reusable ?
#11
I'm sorry FD3S but it looks like there's an unusual spread on that apex seal groove. You should definately double/ triple check the apex seal-to-groove clearance on that rotor. It doesn't look right in the photo's. I don't remember off the top of my head the exact number( I think it's like 0.028mm), but I know for sure it should be uniform clearance all the way down the groove with no excessive play at the bottom. In any event I figured it's better you know now, because believe me if that seal found a way to pry it's way out of that rotor one's it will definitly do it again, only easier.

Thanks for answer...
Can I use FD rotor housing ?
pk797: If I understand what you say, it's that the apex seal could get out again because of the clearance of apex seal's groove. The thing, is that the apex seal was not out when I open the engine. Everything was in his place. I guess that a stranger particule entered in the engine. I will check that clearance anyway.
Thanks again!

Yeah FD3S
Keep in mind that although there good I can only tell so much from your pics, but it looked, to me like something was off, with that apex seal groove. As if it was uneven, in the way it would be if you lost a apex seal. I could be wrong. It may only appear that way in the photo, but that concerned me more than the obvious thrashing that both the rotor and the housing took. Check your clearances as they shall set you free from anxiety.
