You're probably loosing 50hp just in the first two bends alone leading from the compressor discharge to the intercooler inlet. Every bend heats the air that much more. The first is fairly unavoidable unless you clock the compressor discharge down and create a smoother radius discharge. The second one, the 90 degree nitrile connection is killing you. Cut and reweld that puppy!

Try the Exedy Hyper Single. It'll hold the power without the cost of a twin plate. Really improves in the shifting department as well. It's very noticeable how much quicker the car goes from one gear to the next over the typical Street/strip combo. I ran two different ACT sprung hub setups and they can't hold a candle to the Exedy I have in there now.

I have the street strip clutch in, and it won't hold the power. So i'd have to get a beefier clutch, or go the route of doing a twin plate...just not what I was looking to do.
I just found a set of black seats, so I might be hanging onto her for a while longer. But it's like, now that everything is working perfectly, I realize that this is too much car for me and the area I live in.
breaking traction with 275's going 50mph is serious.....
