had to cut out the area around the EGR, but it is only a 1" by 1.15" section, so it still shields the heat from the turbine housing near the LIM



before you put the motor in pull that heat sheild off a reweld it, its gonna break, the welds on that cant hold the wieght of the sheild

you sure? the ones we've got were 2 peice welded together, and ones never been mounted and the other broke
