Yeah, I think it'll work fine as long as the ports aren't opening drastically too early (this will reduce the time per ignition/power stroke for torque to be produced). Just remember to bevel the port closing timing of those things to accomodate for the apex seal moving over them per Ito's directions. I also vote for finish-sanding the port and the sleeve itself to partial mirror finish if you can.

the motor is already closed up, but the exaust port closing has been beveled and the port going through the sleve is nicely polished. i have like 65 pics of the motor, just need to find a host.
