What are your thought on how to shut it up for the street. I was thinking twin 2 1/4 system primarys running to just before the diff then into 1 over the diff through a fairly large mufller?

Your exhaust system will be mufflers from the headers/extractors all the way to the bumper. You will need straight through type mufflers, which do not remove much sound except at low flow. There is no such thing as low flow with a peripheral port, even at idle, so only one muffler simply will not cut it.

Mine is only bridge ported and I was running a similar exhaust setup to what you suggested. Believe me, that thing was LOUD. The only solution is going to be to run multiple mufflers if you plan to use it on the street.

Yea ive got that setup on my bridgy too its fairly loud but it only has a small crappy mufler on it. My old car also had a bridgy, primarys through 2 hotdogs then into 1 around the middle of the car though a mufler then over the diff into a mufler both the mufflers were nuthing special and that was fairly queit. What are do you think about putting two mufflers in the midle of the car then into 1 over the diff?

If the 2 under the car are straight through and the third one is a stock GSL-SE then it should run fairly quiet. Just make sure you modify the inlet side of the muffler to at least a single 2.5" instead of the dual 1.5" inlets. I would suggest you use thicker gauge pipe to help it get even quieter.

Of course you could always buy the TII presilencer from RB. I have actually heard those. And they do help keep the car quieter. Heavy part but quiet.(er)
