Hence the reason I use carbide solely for the rough porting. I do use the stones for medium finishing though. Also use lots of sanding rolls with my 60K rpm 1/8" die grinder.

Well I think I have my primary shape to where I want it. I am trying to keep it small but add some duration and have it flow well.

I sprayed some compressed air through the runner and it ended up reaching the far end of the intake chamber, which was what I was hoping for it to do. My goal was to direct the intake charge in the direction of the moving combustion chamber.



Here is how it looks when it is about to close, still able to flow some air:
