I am working with an old housing, trying to build some skill before going after my final engine plates with my Dremel. My goal is to make a medium street port. Here is my progress so far:
Next time I won't go into the oil control ring track or go down as far. The port area is larger than the runner leading up to it as it now stands. |
what kind of carbide bit are u using for with the dremel?
|
Carbide bits are not needed. The normal gray stones work fine for me. The white ball shaped stones are perfect for smoothing in the bowl after the port shape has been roughed in.

I found some more info on Na ports and realized that I was copying the FD ports in the porting thread . . . so I did this one a little more like how Mazdatrix and Racing Beat do their NA primaries.
