Thrust me...Pilot Holes should be drilled when doing the bridge. Why waste a good housing when all that possible could be avoided. Unless you have a huge stock of side housings.....Do the pilot Drilling. This was how I did mine for porting.

I do that. That's the method I prefer -> I use a specific size drill bit, mark the area with a marker using a rotor housing as a guide to ensure the curvature of the cut (pinned on an iron), and then use a punch to mark pilot holes to be drilled. From there, I "connect the dots" with a certain type of 3/32" grinding bit, and then using a mildly abrasive grinding stone to fine-edge the cut and even everything out. It works well but takes a few to several hours per eyebrow cut.
