cut your side seals extremely tight.. I would suggest, .0015 thats a thousand and a half of and inch.. make sure you read up on my oil pressure tip. thread.. don't compromise on the engines end play.. .0025 is ideal.. put this bad boy together and let us know the results.. good luck..

I've had a crazy 6 or so months that have prevented me from doing anything on this project.
but i still have all the parts and i'm starting to get back on my feet. it's just a combination of a crazy homeowner's association, getting fired for BS reasons, and school have really put a halt on me.
as much as i want this thing to purr, school is most important now.
expect a spring comeback from me. like i said, i have most everything, it's just been sitting dormant.
i'll use this as an excuse to do more research.
whatever happens, i'll certainly keep you all informed.

Why not throw some rx8 stat gears in there (there only about 400 aus for a set) and a guru stud kit if you've got the dollars if not 1 peice dowels and a sump plate

kahren, you wouldn't happen to know the cfm ratings on the 48 and 55 would you?
