I'm currently rebuilding my 13B-REW. After inspecting carefully my oil control rings I noticed this little imperfection. It's located on the side facing the spring. It's almost not visible and I can barely feel it with my finger. I checked the control rings that I removed from a 13BT a few years ago and I noticed similar marks.



Is it reusable?

Personally i'd replace them, i was always led to believe that the silver ring should be unbroken (how ever small) and if it is they should be replaced, thing is you don't want to be using suspect bits if you want it to last any sort of time.



It may only be minor but for what one cost i wouldn't risk it.
