I was at home briefly today and ascertained some more information that might help with the diagnoses.



I found the two ventilation areas, the one on the oil neck, and the one on the back iron. Now currently both of these are not connected to anything. Is this how they should be? It just seems like the oil system is getting to much pressure as a whole, but what do I know?

Tie those two lines into a nipple(s) before the turbo and after the air cleaner.

Let me attach some pics just so I'm 100% sure I'm doing it right. If right now there is no filter on the turbo, how exactly should I attach (and which one) to the line before the air cleaner?

the oil pan doesnt have any pressure in it, atelst its not supposed to have any, that nipple is the ventilation for it for the blow by that you get just so there IS no pressure in the pan. they should be either vented to atmpshere with a little filter or go to a catch can or setup the way the stock car has it. ideally you want them to be like Cheers! said to set it up, but on aftermarket turbo and filter sometimes

its hard to have the lines going back to it, so venting it to atmpshere is fine.



the oil pressure side is after the oil gets picked up and goes thru the oil pump.

Well so then there's no explanation for what's going on!



I mean the oil is dripping, it's not being burned...

you need to pinpoint where the oil is commign from, if there is so much oil every, that you cant tell, then you need to use an engine degreaser and hose it all down. and start from a clean one. does it leak while teh car is off? or does it only leak when its running. the oil in the exhaust, in the amounts you are describing shoudl be good for a lot of smoke comming out of the exhaust.

It doesn't leak while the car is off.



I'll have a definitive answer either tomorrow night or sometime Saturday. My gasket should be in tomorrow and I'll start by installing it.



If this was a turbo-only issue (oil pressure) are there any signs that I should look for when taking the turbo off? I can put money on there being oil in it, but anything other than that?

i have a feelign its just your oil drain, make sure there is a gasket there

what engine is in your car? did you block off the rear oil drain that the twins used ot go to?
