You mentioned in the other thread that the slides were ineficient, have you tested them both?

You know how banzai is, whatever is already assembled is automatically more efficient... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

I really like those, I'm curious where they came from

In theory it's easy to make your own, but the devil is always in the details..

The problem I forsee with making your own is quick throttle response. Normal blade throttles will open and close almost instantly without a heavy return spring because there is almost no friction. With the slide throttle stuff I posted, its from an aviation source (www.rotaryeng.net), where throttle response isnt an issue.

And banzai, those things are sexy. But I didnt see you mention what they were originally off... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

BELIEVE ME!!! Throttle response will not be a problem!!!! These things are smooth. The reason I busted on adam is the drawing doesnt show the bearings!

These came from a person who was connected to the Mazda Racing Program in the 80's. MAZDA MOTORSPORTS (Brian/Scott) have heard of their existance, but know none of the details. I am searching for more info
