Thumbs up

The first apex seal on top came out of my "rest of the world" fb bodied, no emissions, no solenoids, no air pump, sa22c vin, rear seats, rotor shaped wheels, rear discs but no LSD .... first gen .... 81.

Yes, I came that way from factory, and the owners manual itīs in spanish

The second apex, came out of a friends 80

and the third, its a normal, brand new, mazda made 12a apex seal

Ive never seen before an apex like the one in my car on a first gen

If anyone has some info please share

they are ferrous (checked with a magnet)

quick note: it only had one spring.

looking at its desing, you might think it came with two, but no.... just one

The seals you show are used in European 12A motors from about 81 on. I guess they were machined away to save weight, but I have seen MANY wrecked housings using them. If you want some I can get them for you, but they don't offer any advantage

Thanks for the info Mazdaracer. I had no idea.

The new seals at the bottom is what I will use, but thanks for the offer anyways.
