Need To Find Really Cheap Porting In Texas

[quote name='Turbo II-FB' date='Mar 30 2005, 07:44 PM']sorry, I asked then for a agressive street port and they said 1800 dollars for port work that is all

There was miscommunication somewhere. Noone charges $1800 for port work for anything short of a j-bridge or PP,even then it would still be high.
$1800 is a decent price for a rebuilt and streetported engine though.

while there are a number of excellent options for you in Texas i recommend you contact BDC, Brian Caine. he does excellent work, gets it done asap, charges a fair price. he recently did my motor and i am very happy w the entire experience.
as to the $1800..... that had to be for other additional servces including reassembling your motor etc... porting runs around 4-500 generally. also, do your self a favor and talk to Brian as to what you are going to be doing w the motor and let him make the call as to the specific port configuration.

Not everyone is capable of doing quality port work. Ive seen MANY examples where the person shouldnt have been allowed to touch a grinder.
