I didn't sacrifice volume for the primary port runner. I measured port size and CFM before hand. From that point on blended the semi-peri into a runner size large enough to feed both.

This semi-peri doesn't open very early.First the bridgeport opens and half way into the intake cycle, then semi-peripheral opens. Once I dyno, sometime in January Ill post dyno results reflecting torque curve,power band and horsepower.

OK been to the garage and you're right it will open some 90BTDC so about the same as a small bridge (unless my sums are way out, as I don't have a dial guage on the junk engine I was using to visualise this).



Will be very interested to see what it puts out.

You could flow more air/fuel in a 3rd gen side housing then blending a 5 and 6 port together on a 6 port engine. The 3rd gen. plates are larger even from a factory port design.

My understanding is that Judge is going to be shoving that much air (i.e.boost) into the thing that the more avenues air has to get into the combustion chamber the better, regardless of plenum volumes, resonant tuning etc. Those factors come more into play with NA motors...

uhh, afaik he's building a NA+nitrous monster, no boost.

We had a guy in alabama named tomas he had a blue rx-3 was suppose to be one off the fastest rotarys of that time. It would just eat up bb v8s all day long. Anyways thats a crazy motor and i love the way old school car looks . just wish i could come see it run
