Yea fucked housings don't really keep a car from running, just from making power..

they ahve updated the design on teh newer cars on the surface

Both RX4 and 2nd gen 7's. Admittedly more common on the RX4 engines but then most of them had done much higher miles, especially when they had been rebuilt several times over...

One of my S6 housings was starting to lose the chrome at 170,000 km's. Errm, no, I didn't reuse it!
