Any relaible fix that doesn't involve a complete tear down for an exhaust insert that's only being held in by a single roll pin?
Not that I know of. I've torn alot of those things out. The only thing I can think of is to tear it apart.

"That will lead to a blown engine on a turbo car." Quoted from 1Revvin7.
What do you mean by this answer? Do you care to elaborate? (well I just spent my $10 word for today. hahaha)
What I did was drill a hole and tapped threads partially into the sleeve at the bottom and used a threaded hex plug to keep it all together. Used a dot of JB weld on the threads and it has held up for 3 months daily driven.

So you just tapped the sleeve and ran something is as a set screw against the aluminum housing? Might be the approach to take. Thanks!
