I dont know if this is the right place to be posting this, but you guys seem to know alot about what to do and how to do it, but I am not looking to do it myself. I have an 87 SE w/ the 6 ports. This will be done along with an engine rebuild because I have 110K on my engine. So, my questions are where can I send my engine to have it street ported? How much am I looking at paying? Thanks alot.

Nah, I'm lousy at porting. It's no fun; I hate it.

Just keep in mind that the port work that most people do (including myself) involves all 5 engine housings and there may be some shipping costs there. Unless you're die-hard and planning on rebuilding it, I could do both the port work and the labour. PM me on it and I'll shoot you some labour rates, etc. for stuff. I'm in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

ME ME ME ME ME...........AAAAAHHHHHHH BDC got here before me dang. LOL just joking. You got the right man BDC.

I know BDC doesnt remember but a couple of years ago we did the Haltech/Hitman email thing. I still have some emails printed that you sent me when I was setting the Haltech up in my FC.

Now you have convinced me to do that thar Turbo bridge thang thar man. Motor is all done and ready to be installed, just need to address the chassis before installing the juice . Will post the setup soon. I know this motor is gonna make some real numbers.

Anyhow cps87rx7se you will have chosen the right brother to do your motor. Forget the Big name Co's.

HEY!!!!! BDC HOW THE HELL YOU FIND TIME TO DO ALL THAT WORK, WHEN YOU ARE ALL OVER THE FORUMS SPREADING THAT KNOWLEDGE.

not taking anything away from BDC here, ive seen his work and it is excelent. but another option that may be easier/cheaper for you because we are closer, is J&R Performance/ Smokin Joe Racing.

they are located in Elmont NY and do excelent work.

ask for Joe. (516) 616-5812

theres also T&R racing in Jamaice NY.

I'd suggest you call all 3 parties mentioned and make your decision after speaking to them

Don't forget about Judge ITO!!!

And Pineapple Racing can port, but I and others have had less than optimum results from them in their longevity of the engine.

I wonder how much it be to refresh and do a mild port on a 13b-re? I want to hold 17-20 psi.

Yeah I heard Ito is pretty good But I seriously do not need any engine work for about a year.
